Titanic Zeugma

The massive ship and hopes were lost
No lifeboats left for passengers
Their lips were blue, skin bit by frost
The massive ship and hopes were lost
Atlantic Ocean not yet crossed
The radar failed, no messengers
The massive ship and hopes were lost
No lifeboats left for passengers

Very intense triolet Carol! Love it! You just said in 8 straight lines of this nice triolet. No lifeboats enough anyway. Total negligence and discard of common sense! Such a tragedy that could have been I believe avoided. Best wishes! xxxx D.

This is a great serious one, Carolyn. Captured the essence of the great disaster in a few short lines, perfect for the triolet form.
