Titanic
Eyes that penetrated beyond men's souls,
Saw what I wanted even my devious goals,
Accepting me as the miscreant that I always am,
Almost tricking me that this was just a sham.
My heart's warm as the sea during midnight,
My soul's bitterness and muck an awful horrid sight,
Yet you chose me out of all the abandoned and saw
What I could potentially be, a potential you claimed so raw.
Our love changed me and I became myself today,
Your soul resting and free, to you I always pray,
You withered before time took your heart's beauty,
A kindness so pristine for now it belongs to the sea.
