Tis the Season

The air is cold, clean, and crisp
Holiday Season is in full swing
Every house and yard aglow
Adorned with every twinkling colored light
Snowmen, Santa, even Toy Soldiers
Smile and wave from snow-covered lawns
Presents piled under evergreen trees
Blanketed with ornaments, tinsel, and lights
Stockings hung from the garlanded mantle
Bask in the glow of the crackling fire
Scenes inspiring peace, joy, and happiness
A season of giving, family, and love
Everyone's spirit is uplifted and bright
The world is overflowing with Holiday Cheer
How could this season be so dark for me
Then I remember-I dont have you.
