'tis So Many Months

‘Tis so many months since poems I wrote
for me life has not been so easy
The dreaded P is now moving on
Leaving me sad and feeling so bad
My walking now causing concerns
so slow like the slowest of snails
My brain it seems very muddled
often feeling confused and befuddled

As I glance up above through my window
The sun doth shine down upon me
The moon in the sky still sends me her love
and great comfort I get from the sea

So now without further ado
To my dear PS friends I tell you
so sorry to not read your poetry
because of the dreaded 'P'
for me it was truly and utterly wrong
Now decided that P will not win
and to P ~ I will never give in

So sat in my chair
I say a small prayer
hoping that you are all still here…

Such a fine piece Ann penned with lovely rhyme and flow roo. So sorry the P has worsened again, do hope you can cope with it but be assured of my prayers for you at this difficult time. Blessings always, Gordon xx

Bless you dear Gordon for your kind words. I have good days and bad days but of course it is degenerative and therefore will worsen. I try to keep positive, but because I am on my own this is not always possible. However, writing poetry does take me to a different place and can be so therapeutic. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Dear Shirley thank you so much for your kind message. I have many poems on PS, but in the last few months I stopped writing as things were getting so much worse with P, however, I hope that my muse will return and writing will take my mind off other things...with kindest thoughts Ann xx
