'tis Love
last night I heard the moon whisper in a hush so tender,
“love…
yes, ‘tis love-
as we laid to surrender in a gentle moment of splendor.
we sat and counted stars until there was no more
existence to gaze upon (embraced in affection)-
indulged in cosmos and saw the water treading upon
venus with ease (bodies adjacent in warmth).
I thought of how you loved me without condition,
hands held without caution, only care and concern.
the sun rose and replied to the moon,
“love
yes, ‘tis perpetual love-”
and with promises of radiant yellow we shined into the
morn glory, encompassed in dewdrops and the opening
of white and tangerine lilies.
for I am your undying ignited candle blazing on into the
constellations we call home-
"yes… ‘tis love,
‘tis love."
