timid tambourine

can shivering in pain be heard,
taut timbre ~ now memories...
the sound is real ~ pain forgotten
yet heard like iced limbs shaken
and crash where summer thunder reigned
~ now fall in icy silence...

Inky!! Missed you and so awesome to see your warmth once more--you're a gift to all you touch...and remind me/us that, like the cherry blossoms (to be poetic) that summer is nigh----been hiding/escaping to Florida (thankfully) for the winter and looking forward to all those fruit trees blooming on the ride back north.
