Notes About The Poem

shortly after her passing, I received my aunt's 'antiquish' secretarial desk

it was a special piece of furniture for her, and I'm grateful to have this cherished heirloom

TIME'S THIN DUST

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the antique glaze whispers ink-stained tales, its drawer still holds her vanished breath~ a quill, a seal, three unread wills, and time's thin dust.
