Time's Regret

There’s something very determined In the way time moves I always wonder Where it’s trying to go Because it races for no reason Sweeping the world Constantly cleaning Constantly creating Constantly impatient There’s something Restless since it never stops Something relentless It never gives up The associated frustration And all those regrets There’s something unforgiving About the way it goes by It’s not your friend Not much of an enemy But a stranger that controls Your entire destiny Like they say Stop running, enjoy the scenery Someone should tell time It might finally see In all its swiftness The damages and lost opportunities Maybe even the beauty It left behind called history And might even say “How I wish I waited Maybe to change and To have enjoyed the scenery”.
