Time's passing quickly
Do you remember the days of our youth?
The good times and bad times that we went through?
There's highways and byways and kids that we knew,
Do you remember those days like I do?
Do you recall winters and days without school,
With snow drifts high and no swimming pool?
The windows were frosted and bed sheets were cool;
Can you recall the winters so cruel?
Can you still picture your first ever crush,
And every time you got near, did you blush?
When around your friends you kept it hush hush
By telling yourself don't be in a rush.
Do you look back on the years that passed by?
Can you count all those gone to fields where they lie?
When you see wrinkles do you ask yourself "why"?
Do you look back on the years that passed by?
Now at long last, do you feel you are old
When every joint hurts and you're always cold?
Seems like it's time to put mem'ries on tight hold
And treat every day as if it were gold!
Do you remember those days like I do?
