Times

The Miles I have walked
To the people to whom I have talked
Brought myself along
I am sorry for the times I did wrong
Beautiful sights
Long lonely nights
Still I get by
Some days I still cry
Some days I see so much
At times I fell out of touch
I can only see so far into tomorrow
Seeking to live through my sorrow
To better days ahead that I may find
Come so far seeking peace of mind
Trying not to be left behind
Some days it feels so right
To sleep so peacefully throughout the night
Wonder if I have payed my way
With the pain from yesterday
Sun shines so bright
feels so right
To walk with my head held high
Up in the sky
Dreams I see
The person I seek to be
Is within my reach
Brought together by my life , and the lessons it had to teach
