Time Traveler

After the dark night
The sun shines, makes the day bright.

After the rains, the trees go green
We see autumn, enjoy spring.

Changes were there and will be there
The gone are gone, who thinks and care?

A lot of sufferings happened in the past
There's no knowing, the incidents are so vast.

The cries and whining, sufferings and pain
Lives were lost,again and again.

A series of miseries, with lives lost
No one could save at any cost.

A disease so wild, spread far and wide
Like the ocean sees, waves and tide.

I wish,I could save those in need
I would have done my bit, indeed.

I wish,I could go back in time
To save the lost souls, every time.

The pandemic was dreadful and destructive
Due to lack of doses and preventive.

The pain of victims shakes the soul
To save them,I wish I could play my role.

Given a chance,ever again
I would make sure,the lost lives,regain.

I need to travel back in time,to save the lost lives
A thought in mind,always drives.

Men must know the value of time
To save others,live and shine.

The feeling of pains,a sense of regret
Reminds nothing,but helping is great...
