Time To Go

It's time to go, you have to leave
We didn't know it was time to grieve
So many years you gave your love
We say farewell you travel above

You always gave us good advice
Strong and sound, not at a price
Admired you were by all around
Good values you held rarely found

Pride of place you lived this race
Worked hard and at a steady pace
Golf, bowls, reading and walking
Easy for you to get people talking

What a life, you taught us good
Smile, be happy, plenty of food
Do good deeds and really care
For you our love was never bare

It's time to go, goodbye, farewell
One in a million, your story we tell.
