Time To Go
Sometimes you need to cut the ties.
Not everyone is a friend.
If they've used you, made you cry,
its time for it to end,
your peace of mind to tend.
Sometimes you need to let go.
Move on and start anew.
If their friendship was just a show
and their motives were untrue,
then do what's best for you.
Sometimes friendships come and go.
They aren't all meant to last.
When their true colours start to show
its time to put it in the past,
to walk away and walk fast.
Look forward, don't look back.
There are others who are true.
The trick is having the knack
of knowing who is bad for you
and bidding them a fond adieu.
