Time To Go

Time to Go

Now I Lay Me down to Rest,
and I've Had a Pretty Good Life,
but Now I Think It's Time,
I Went to Join My Wife.

We Were Married for Many Years
and I've Not Done Well on My Own,
So at Last We'll Be Together Again,
and Now I Won't Be Alone.

I Had All My Children Around,
but You Know It's Not the Same,
So Excuse Me If I Don't Feel Bad
I Am Done Playing Life's Game

So Don't Grieve Overly Much for Me,
I Was Never One for Emotion,
I'm Tired and Want to Go Home,
 but I Appreciate Your Devotion
