Time, the Last Hope

Time is the last hope
I took every antidote
Far from an edge of solution
Disappointed by some illusion

I cried for help
But just my scream was echoed
in the empty room and faded

How cruel!
How vain!
But I can’t blame anyone
Burning anger, but to no one

God gave me the ability to forget
New day will come, but we’ve not there yet
No one will have pain
No one will boast in vain

But I know
For a while I will suffer

Even if I can do nothing
One day the storm will pass away
Wind will stop blowing anyway

How comforting!
How exciting!

Wow. This is... beautiful. You capture the essence of hope in ordinary language for anyone to read. Great job. Keep it coming!

Anytime. I've never been a famous poet here, but I like encouraging others who have potential to unleash their power onto the paper.
