It’s the year end, and She is coming near; She reminds me, to BYE the year. How can this be, I was hardly here. To ask my exit now, is too severe. She smiles at me, as I appear all *****. I plead with her, for more time, hiding my tear. She chuckles and grants me, a New Year. ‘Ask and ye shall get’, I tell myself and run in cheer. She calls me out, ‘maybe you forgot to Thank me Dear’. Silly, you ask this, ‘I am MAN I can’t even see you here’, I sneer. I am TIME always unseen, but I am forever here; All that you see and hear, only I shear.
