Time Table

Just like it takes the earth,
one year to go around the sun.
It also took me twelve months to realize,
what we had is now done.

Just like each month has its own number,
of weeks.
So has my anguish mounted up,
four and five peaks.

Just like each week has the same number of days,
I add seven more tears,
when I reminisce of your ways.

Just like everyday consist of the same amount,
of time.
Twenty hours I think of you,
The other four are spent to write you a rhyme.

Just like each hour is filled by a torture of minutes,
sixty is not enough apologies,
to cover a pain with no limits.

Just like a minute winds- down with every tick,
and each tock.
My seconds are lived just getting by,
with a heart broken clock.
