Time Stood Still

I stood their silent upon that hill ,Such a weird feeling as time stood still. Me and my dog all alone, Waiting for the hearse to leave your home. I knew what time you were going by. Then i saw the hearse i stood and cried, I was feeling sad deep inside. My falling tears i could not hide ,You were the one that ruined my youth, I built up courage i told you the truth. I stopped talking to you years ago, I did the right thing yes i no. The hardest thing i ever done, I beat my demons i had won. I only cried for the dad i never had, You can hurt me no more I am glad
