The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Time Stands Still

Time stands still
As I wait for you
As I yearn for you
Every breath I take hurts me
Because I'm not close to you
Touching my lips wishing it was yours
Merging with mines
I search for you
Time stands still
As I blame myself for causing the damage
Blame me for tearing us apart
You had moments where you caused pain
But it seems like what I've done out weighed it all
You say you forgive me but **** changed drastically
I caused the fire, I cut the beat
We had a beautiful flow of music
But you started changing up the melody
So I cut the song completely
Not realizing how much it would affect me and hurt you
Time stands still
As I sit by the phone waiting for your call
Trying to reply the memories but they're fading
I'm going crazy
I just want you
Come back to me, forgive me, give me another chance
This can't be the end
Time stood still
As I continue to wait for you months passed me by
Going on a year, I constantly cry
I realized time was ticking
It never stopped
It's my heart that's standing still
