The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Time Stands Still

Time is no longer a friend of mine
It's a complicated thing, time
Much of it wasted, time
So little to spare

Decisions to make
Directions to take
Dreams to partake
Passions to dare

Forever pushing the boundaries of now
Feeling out of my element now
Much to be learnt now
Compromised illusions beware

Time is precious, so little
Willing greatness can be brittle
Recognition for talents given so little
Afraid of failure is never rare

Evidence of a life made
Journey's there and back taken
Creating continuously
Daring passions
