Time Passes

Time often passes by

without giving reasons why

The seasons change throughout the years

giving us joy, laughter, pain & tears

Time can be thoughtful, tried & true

or time can be hurtful, & make you feel blue

Somedays we want to slow it down

sometimes we want to turn it around

But hold on tight and never let go

For time has a way of stopping the show

And just when you think things are dragging on by

Your kids are all grown and you're asking yourself why

Why did I not spend more time with my kids

just ask me, that's just what I did
