Time Measured

One Day Leads to Another
A Whisper in the Measure of Time
It's Hard for Me to Visualize
I'm Here and this Time Is Mine

I Have Absolutely No Idea
How Long My Life Will Be
But I Know I Could Have Done Better
With the Time That's Allotted to Me

I've Made So Many Mistakes
And Precious Time Has Slipped Away
Oh, the Things I Should Have Done Different
As I Went from Day to Day

Nothing Can Ever Recall
The Time That Has Already past
But I Shall Strive to Do Much Better
And Pray That My Time Will Last

The Time I Need for Me
I Will More Wisely Spend
It Will Make Me Better Inside
Then I Won't Mind So Much in the End.

Beautiful. I like the emphasis on everything capitalized. Time is so curious and complex, is it not? Enjoyed. love, JuliMichelle
