Time Late 70's Or Early 80's

Where does the time go
not a man does know
it's recorded years
of every mans fears
like a book of old
unsung tales told
every action etched
upon it's naked breast
Where does the book lay
that holds all of mans day
Who is the one to open
all it's contents to display
Time is lost to man
an unseen one who can
See the book
and read the lines
interpretation to define
the ledger of time
a record True
is stored somewhere not seen by you
Writing every deed and word
registering thoughts not heard
if to deception you should play
be thus prepared on it's opening day
the book of Truth will have it's say
