Time Is Mine

Today I Will Turn Fifty
And I've Learned a Thing or Two.
But All in All it Wasn't Bad
And My Regrets Are Just a Few.

Oh, I Intend to Be Here Awhile.
I Have a Lot More Things to Do.
Like Spend Time with My Family,
So They'll Know I Love Them Too.

Now That May Not Sound like Much,
But It's Very Important to Me
I've Lost a Few of My Family
So My Reasons Are Not Hard to See.

I Look Around Me Now,
And Things Seem Very Clear.
I Have a Lot of Love to Give
And It's More So Every Year.

So as I Begin Year Fifty-one,
I'll Say I'm Glad I've Had this Time.
I Will More Wisely Spend it
And Be Glad this Time Is Mine.
