Time Has Called the Reaper

Stop the world and let me off
I'm where I don't belong
A broken soul forever weak
A million miles from strong

I know not what tomorrow brings
But today is standing still
An echo of a hollow past
Who's forgotten how to feel

Oxygen, a weak temptation
To live another day
A breath of bottled hopelessness
That makes me feel this way

The sun that used to warm my skin
Now reminds me of my fate
Just a plan without a purpose
Forever reprobate

A shadow of what I used to be
Beckons me to hide my face
A past without a future
A dark and winless race

A promise without a reason
Has kept me walking straight
But time has called the reaper
For me it is too late
