Time Has

Time has
placed him in a cinder block cell
where buzzards ring
cause somebody fell...

Time has
changed a descent man
altering his values
into a spec of sand...

Time has
hardened the core of his heart
refusing to explain
the reasons they're apart...

Time has
complicated his entire life
his grand daughters, his kids
and the losing of his wife...

Time has
got the best of him
taking control of his life
over and over again...

Time seems
to have finally expired
realizing now
that he has become tired...

Time seems
to no longer have meaning
society took away
all that he was giving...
