Time For Thought

For some, it's time for Christmas
For others, it is not
Some like the cool of winter
While many like it hot

It doesn’t matter what you like
Just as long as you play fair
Don’t spoil it for the masses
Let them play & laugh & share

The only thing that we all need
Is love and that's the truth
A little understanding helps
Let’s try and find the proof

For in a world as crowded
As it has become today
Some care for others you may find
Can go a long, long way

Don’t presume that all your choices
Will not harm some folk far away
We can't know for sure the dangers
Children come upon in play

A man called John once asked us
To imagine all the people, living for today...
The past has left such evils
Isn’t it time we blew them all away?
