Time and Time Again

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.
The hands sweep round the clock.
Now I try to take stock.

It hits me in the face
as more my time does race
from here to other place.

From beginning to end.
This notion my mind bend
as loose ends do offend.

Future and past must meet,
equation to complete.
Ends then tied. All is neat.

Yes. Neat like bookends. But still a beginning and an end. Many thanks and best wishes. Tony

Thanks Tom. Yes I often reflect on this. //The wheel of life keeps turning round. // So to a future we are bound. // But are parts of our past there found.
