Time and Such
The future, it's coming on so fast.
Don't blink, you'll miss it; then it becomes the past.
Nothing can be done, nothing to stop or slow it down.
I'm getting so behind in life, sometimes I fear I might drown.
They say I have plenty of time, still others say that I don't.
Do you know how it feels to have nothing at all?
It is a deep sense of want.
In want of companionship, friendship, some bit of loyalty.
There's none of that here, but I guess it would have spoiled me.
Maybe there's no gain, nothing at all to be won.
Oops! I blinked!
Now it's all done.
