Time and Chance
Get wisdom: the principal thing
And with all your getting
Get understanding
To discern time and procedure
That the race is not to the swift
Nor the battle to the strong
Neither bread to the wise
Nor riches to men of understanding
Neither favor to men of skill
But time and chance happens to you
Who make the most of every moment
Time is of the essence
Whatever your hand finds to do
Do it with might
Because dreams come true
Through the multitude of business
So the time is always now to be diligent
Achieve greatness and always be ready
For there’s an appropriate moment
For every purpose
To everything there is a season
And your opportunity will come in time
