Time

As the minutes blend into hours,
Of every single day,
Those days turn into weeks,
The pain never goes away.
Weeks become months,
Before I know it they are years,
You're no longer by my side,
I can't hold back my tears.
I wish I could turn back time,
So we could be together,
I wish time would stand still,
Then you'd be here forever.
Every minute of every hour,
I endure with all my might,
The days are cold and lonely,
Like every sleepless night.
