Time

The hours leave on feathered wings

The minutes go with them too.

The days, the weeks, the months, the years

They all just seem too few.

Sitting in the summer heat and sun

The winter seems so far away

But if you blink more than once

You're waking up on Christmas day.

"Time flies when you're having fun"

Is a popular thing to say

But time just seems to disappear

No matter your mood that day.

So be grateful for the time you have

You don't know how long its yours

For time escapes through everything

It doesn't live by human laws.

Hi Shelley. nice poem about time and how it passes by so quickly. Being grateful for each day and trying to make the best of it is a great way to live. With Gods help we do have an opportunity to bring our joy to all that we come in contact with. I enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing.... Robert.
