Time

Time stuck in time
The tick, tick tock
60 seconds on the clock
Always moving
Never slowing, pausing or stopping
Time lapses time
Yours over mine
Those in front
Over those behind
But what if you could hit rewind
Go back and fix the problems you left behind
Change the sequence of events that put you here in the now
Disrupting, corrupting, and altering lives you’ve touched somehow
Would you take that chance or live with the regrets?
You know, the stuff you’d like to forget
But time doesn’t rewind or fast forward
It ticks its own tune
Never changing
Always aging
Adopting new eccentricities
Denying immortality
Eventually your time within time will cease to exist
But time doesn’t stop
Not the tic nor the toc
