Time

Time Her then gone, how time does fly, Those times which you want to last. Today soon, is yesterday, What’s here now, is forever past. Memories are hidden in thoughts, Mere images of what took place. We now look ahead for what’s in store, As the future we have to face. Lost in thought, time stands still, For thought has no concept of time. Yet ever moving forward, stationary never, For this no one can bind. Feelings grow and feelings fade, Emotions are always new. Time can only see it all, And testify to be true. As for hate and bitter strife, It comes yet lingers not. Unless of course, yet let it control, Then in your soul it rots. Don’t hold on to the bitter past, Be free from corrupt regret. Get on with life, press towards the goal, Till the prize you’ll finally get. For friendship, love, those things that last, They’re not what they appear. They’re taken for granted, incomprehensible, Closer to us than we let near. Friends come and go without notice, Again paths may never cross. You never know what you have, Until it you have lost. Take the time to get to know someone, Try the least with anyone to quarrel. For to the world you may be one person, But to one person you may be the world. Afraid to live, afraid to love, We don’t dive into see. But if we do, we may find, To our heart who holds the key. Time is ticking, life’s too short, To live a life of doubt. Take the plunge, dive on in, For the hour glass is running out.
