Time

Time goes by
I give a great sigh
Look gently at the sky
I smell Mama's pie
But I can't eat it yet, or I'll die
I want pie and at least one fry
But I can't, so time goes by
And I will not deny
That it is a boring day in July
And, that is why my time goes by
