Time

As the soon suppresses
The now of present
And past becomes oppressive
Like the noon to settiing sun

All lies betwixt the pages
Nestled in among nonfictions
Where history thus begins
And ends on lines of truth rivaled by contradictions

Then the now
Unfolds into ages
Giving way to sullen hours
As crescent moons to full, cycle out in phases

Also shadows do the same
When dependent upon the dial
Time the ancient warrior
Shall not rescind nor stagnate by the while

But thus continues on, capturing moments in an instant
Marching forth with its prisoners all along
Entering the future morrows of existence
As it moves into dusk of further and further gone
