Time
TIME
I have seen the clocktower, I have heard it chime
Every hour on the hour, I have seen the meadow flowers
Their fragrance is sublime, I have tasted milk that’s sour
It’s your time don’t waste it, drink the wine and taste it
Feel the breeze in the trees, all good things come in threes
Don’t waste another second, come along, your future beckons
I have often wondered how much time is left
I have heard the rolling thunder, is it only seconds before we feel bereft?
It’s up to you, what do you reckon, I have heard that heaven beckons
Time can heal and time can mend
If you feel down call a friend
To strangers let your hand extend
You will get there in the end
See the waves upon the ocean
Imagine them all in slow motion
You will come to understand
Timers all hold grains of sand.
