Michael Jordan Poet Couplet

Time

Time is a funny thing
I've seen it change human beings
A day is a day it is no lie
Tell me why some drag while others fly
I think of time and all it does
How we can't turn it back to how it was
See time is a thing that cuts no slack
Moving forever forward-never back
Time is a father it is true
Father time watches over you
You meet his sister at the gate
His sister’s name lets call her fate
Time is a teacher of lessons learned
Fate makes sure that they are earned
Together they tweak, bend and mold your soul
Until a single day is a distant goal
Sometimes life gets so insane
To look ahead causes to much pain
And looking back tears apart
What is left of the heart?
Lose your dreams of the future and memories of the past
And you will have learned to do your time at last

I don't know of anyone who is worthy of that phrase more than you. You are such a example to us all through your unconditional love and understanding.
