Time
TIME
The clock is ticking:
Tick tock, tick tock’
The deadline’s fast approaching
And I have writer’s block.
It used to be so simple
But that’s all in the past.
There’s no inspiration at present
And I have to find it fast.
Time is of the essence,
I haven’t a moment to lose.
Perhaps God in his infinite wisdom
Will help me find my muse.
It’s a poet’s eternal problem,
That cursed writer’s block.
And still the deadline’s approaching
Tick tock, tick tock
