Till the End

You'll be there till the end Even in the blow of the wind You kept me since I was eight days old As if I was a treasure of gold untold You showed me wrong from right And always tucked me in bed at night When I came home with a bad note I knew you would put me in the bad boat When the teacher told you that I learned to read You knew in your heart that I would later succeed And when you found out that I got in a fight You took my television for the rest of the night When I started to throw things around Things were always hard to be found You may not be my biological mother But to me you are different and like no other Wearing dresses to church and my hair in curls And you would always wear your beautiful pearls Every morning when you did my hair You always made sure I had something decent to wear Even though we are living apart You will always be in my heart God knows we both care for each other To you my number one foster mother You know I will love you always Even in the remaining days To you Mommy, who is the best I will love you always and forever
