Notes About The Poem

Til Journey's End

Till Journey's End

In life’s journey, I’ve walked in shadows thrown.
Ghostly images pass of a life not fully known.
Thinking I knew what it’s paths ending would be.
I traveled in blind faith within hopes obscurity.

The journey was not one of miles nor distance.
But of a fools soul blooming in stiff resistance.
To seek the wisdom that was seemingly hiding.
Was a journey of this soul in spiritual sliding.

I am now nearing my life’s journeys end.
My final season dawns and is about to begin.
What was seemingly hiding but always in view.
Was just blinded by my own selfish life’s hue.

But a friend, whom I knew was always there.
Has come once again with His love to share.
Together we are unfolding life’s wrinkled flower.
Till journey's end He will be my strong tower.
