'til Hearts Reunite
Embrace, young lovers,
Find shadows and hide,
Hold close, caress,
And watch the moon glide;
Pet with abandon
While ignoring the fear
That each breathless moment
Brings midnight too near.
Yes, cuddle, recline,
His chest for a pillow,
Share whispers and muse
In the veil of that willow,
But know to be home
Well before dawn,
So rush, young lovers
Across that dark lawn,
Then stroll, nonchalant,
To her door in the night:
Kiss and dread hours
‘Til hearts reunite.
