Tiger In the Mirror
I’m gonna put my mirror back
It’s going on the wall
The place that it was meant to be
Before I had my fall
No more nightclubs that never close
No more pretentious mugs
No more outside the toilet door
Waiting for my drugs
I’ve ridden on this Tiger’s back
For fifteen years or more
Afraid that it would eat me up
If I stepped off to the floor
So deeper in the jungle
The Tiger went with me
So deep that my adrenaline
Took away my sight from me
Along the way there’s been some fun
There’s been some friends with me
Their Tiger is the same as mine
But each others we can’t see
The mirrors on the table
My reflection faces up
The only time I look in it
Is with my nose close up
For four days now I’ve sat in here
The curtains hide the light
Is it cos my Tiger
Only takes me out at night
I’m gonna hang my mirror up
It’s going on the wall
I’m getting off this Tiger now
I can’t face another fall
