Tides of Depression

Far away, this ship is taking me far away,

And the name of the ship was the billy of tea,

But you’re uncomplicated,

So why should it affect you?

You’re insecure, and don’t know what for,

Best, you’ve got to be the best,

Oh yeah, I’ll tell you what I hear,

So sip the gossip, drink ‘til you choke.

But I can make an explosion.

My parachute will guide me safely to ground,

Even if the sky is falling down,

I won’t fall in love with falling.

Cause I’m on top of the world,

Take a look in the mirror,

What do you see?

All those words we exchange.

Ring, ring, phone call from depression,

It’s just me and anxiety.

Are we running out of time?

You can’t stop it screaming out.

Where a flame in the wind,

Erase all the memories, but they’re still stuck in my brain,

Can you hear the sound of hysteria?

Fire spreading all around my room.

And I’ll hide from the world behind a broken frame,

The devil doesn’t bargain,

Paradise comes at a price,

Remember who you are.
