Tides Ebb and Flow
Drifting on a sail less boat,
The banks lined with flora and dragonflies,
Time line ebb and flows,
While twilight brings home the night,
Apparition of mist and smoke,
Memories waving goodbye out of sight,
I wish to stay but tides dictate where we go,
The moon crescents a beautiful starry sky,
Alone on these tides we must stay afloat,
This river intertwines with the grand design,
Empty this bottle to place my note,
Saying I will see you again on the otherside,
Knowing the river is just a universal moat,
Again I will be able to kiss you goodnight,
So I travel on this lonely sail less boat,
Skimming the water on a river we all call time.
