Ticking Away

As the Clock keeps Ticking away
Ticking away without Delay
The People are Going in such a Hurry
Going so fast what is their Worry
As the Clock keeps Ticking away
and the Children continue to play
They are so Happy and so Carefree
Without any Worries they way it should be
As the Clock keeps Ticking away
Ticking ever so Loudly to my Dismay
Oh the people, if only they knew what to Fear
If only they knew Grave Danger is near
And at the Final Hour the people turn to the Clock
Suddenly....It Stops
