Tick Tock

I sit here between the tick and the tock
No such thing as a clock.
I sit here for all to see
Yet no one sees where I be.
In the darkest night
I'm but a blight.
High above
Still know nothing of love
I watch all
Many kingdoms I've seen fall
Lifetimes pass by
For each one I cry
Northern most reaches
Above the land of no beaches
I sit ever so high
Up beyond the sky
Eternities I've been here
I'm the unknown, that you fear
