Tick Ticking Timers

At first I didn't notice
Then at once it hit me
These timers they were everywhere
And all at once were ticking

Now there is no ignoring
This ticking now my only focus
Driving me to think about
How I wished I hadn't noticed

There they go they tick and tick
Their mission's to unnerve me
The ticking it drives me crazy
As my sanity deserts me

Here I am it's them and I
When will they stop this nonsense
The constant tick tick tick
It leaves me lost and offset

So now that's all I notice
Maybe I should walk away
Suddenly it came to me
Why force myself to stay
