Tic Toc Lane
There is a street
Called Tic Tock Lane
A name I thought
Is somewhat strange
In time
My wonder
Got to me
So Googled
Tic Toc Lane
So I saw
To my horror
The story of Elmer
A clock maker
His wife was killed
He did some time
Then married again
To wedding bells
Chimes
In two years time
Elmer's no more
Two men came shooting
New wife and Elmer
New wife survives
To testify
"This one's for Ma"
"Was what the man said"
Time was now gone
And Elmer's now dead
