Tic Toc

I wake up, I lie there, I look at the clock
Try to silence my brain, tic toc, tic toc
Why can’t I sleep, what’s caused this hinder
I’m never quite sure yet I pause and I linger

Thinking and wondering i dwell in twilight
I belong to two worlds yet not really, not quite
I love this feeling, a freedom of peace
A bit of eternity, perhaps never to cease
